Macaroons-à-Porter:Adour at The St. Regis Washington, D.C. Launches Delectable Retail Program.

Washington, D.C. – Adour at The St. Regis Washington, D.C. is delighted to announce that pastry lovers across the Capital will now have the opportunity to enjoy Pastry Chef Fabrice Bendano’s celebrated macaroons in and out of Adour. Beginning November 1, 2009, Adour will be offering its Macaroons-à-Porter in a series of seasonal flavors available throughout the year.
Considered a shining star in the pastry world, Chef Fabrice Bendano showcases his exceptional talent in Adour where he balances traditional desserts with innovative and creative twists. Adour regulars as well as the general public will now have the chance to enjoy his signature macaroons at home, or share them as the perfect hostess gift. Arriving just in time for the holiday season, Adour’s Macaroons will be beautifully presented in a gold box and are ideal for gifts, special treats, or even an afternoon snack. The Chef will create a range of flavors each season, with fall/winter 2009 flavors including coconut/milk chocolate, Gianduja (or hazelnut infused chocolate), raspberry and coffee/walnut. Limited-edition flavors will be available throughout the year, such as a rosewater macaroon for Valentine’s Day and a chestnut macaroon for the holidays. Macaroon aficionados will be able to purchase the treats by special order, 24-hours in advance and will have the choice of the two to three seasonal flavors or a combination of all. For the true macaroon enthusiast, orders of fifty or more will be available, with a 48-hour advance order, and Chef Bendano will offer a selection of four macaroon flavors. For every fifty macaroons ordered, ten will be added complimentary. A dozen macaroons may be purchased for $20 and special orders are available upon request.
